Unencumbered educational grant funding
The Australian Pain Society (APS) has a long history of supporting education via initiatives such as:
Prior to 30 November 2021, PhD scholarships have been jointly managed between the APS and Australian Pain Relief Association (APRA) via unencumbered educational grants from Seqirus and Mundipharma.
From early 2022, after receiving funds from APRA, the APS has taken full responsibility for funding scholarships and grants. Unencumbered educational grants from external parties will still be considered in accordance with APS guidelines.
The APS also receives unencumbered educational grant funding from Cops for Kids (CFK) (a South Australian charity) to support the APS/CFK Clinical Research Grant program.
